Come and join me and the team at SPOTLIGHT TOWNSVILLE next Tuesday 10 November from 6-9pm.

I’ll be there with a make ‘n’ take and my fiskars tools to try – come and join me for some fun and see what else is going on in the store – it will be fun for all!

If you’re not in Townsville there will also be some of my fellow Fiskars Demo’s and our Ambassadors in other stores around Australia – check out the Fiskars Australia Blog for details!

Well my little (ok, not so little anymore!) brother had his birthday a few days ago – this is the card & present holder I made for him.  The backpack contained his present – in the larger pocket was lollies & chocolate and the smaller one had some cash for him :)   The template for the backpack is available on Splitcoast Stampers (SCS) I added a little extra length to the top flap (to allow for wider closure to fit what I wanted) and added the extra patterened paper to match the card.

A card made tonight (yes, I actually got it created, photographed and posted in under 2 hours!) for a couple who were blessed with the safe arrival of their son late last week.

Well my darlin’ Dad recently celebrated yet another birthday-it’s amazing how quick a year can come around again!

This is the card I made for him.

These are some of the samples I did for my demo at Spotlight a few weeks ago.  Sorry for the low-res phone camera photos – I left my samples with the wonderful team at Townsville Spotlight and I haven’t had the chance to remake them yet.

One of the items I had to demo was the Fiskars Stamp Factory – This is a pretty cool tool especially if you have a lot of one design to do.  The ink that you use (a high pigment ink from Fiskars) is also absolutely fantastic!  It is really black and stands out on the cardstock and is perfect for heat embossing!

05-09-10This one is a gift card size, some bright and funky cardstock and cocktails, what better combination could there be??

I stamped the images onto the cardstock, coloured them with coloured pencils and added the + and= signs with a black pen.

05-09-11Another one with some colouring.

05-09-12This one was heat embossed with some glitter embossing powder – sorry but it doesn’t show up as well in the photo!

05-09-15Two similar designs to show how you can use the same design for multiple events.  One is an invitation design which could be an engagement, wedding invitation or bridal shower and the other as a congratulations card, useful for an engagement or wedding present.

05-09-17Again two similar but slightly different designs, to show that you don’t need to have a lot of things to make cards that look good!  These are some cardstock, patterned paper and satin ribbon.

TFL :)   The demo was fun (as always) a huge thanks to the fabulous team at Spotlight Townsville for having me!!

For anyone that’s still reading or might google Spotlight Townsville , I’ll be there THIS Saturday 5 September from 11am-2pm with my bag of Fiskars goodies!  Come and try out tools and punches and all of the other goodies I will have with me .  You’ll be able to find me up the back of the store near behind the fabric where the tables are set up!

:)   Always love to visit the Crafty Crew at Spotlight, they’re great fun!

Just popped in to say I’m taking time out at the moment (if you hadn’t figured it out already) a few things going on in ‘real time’ that need my attention.

I will be back at some point – hopefully soon, but don’t hold me to that!
